The coming year will take part a very important conference in Turkey on Public Health where all PH professional leaders will assist.

We at the organizing committee are proud to announce that The Medical University of Pleven, Bulgaria will be hosting The 6th International Medical Conference for Students and Young Doctors from 15th to 18th of October 2008 in our beautiful city of Pleven. In the medical world, camaraderie or comradeship is one of the most important values; which also goes for medical students all over Indonesia. Because of that, there needs to be an event which can facilitate the development of this strong familial bond between the Indonesian medical faculties. A suitable event to realize this goal, amongst many, would be a sports, art, and science competition. Therefore, passion and sportivity can be cultivated along with strengthening friendship between faculties. In addition to the background above, in commemoration of the 100 years National Rising Day (Hari Kebangkitan Nasional), Liga Medika is held once again.

In relation to the 6th APRM in Taiwan, on the 2nd-6th of August 2008, The International affair division of ISMKI will send some students to participate in this. It will be a delight and unforgettable conference that u will meet people from neighboring countries who regarded doctor as their life-time career. Moreover the meeting provided a platform to discuss medical issues with new friends coming from totally different background. Not only to broaden your view but also enable you to establish new relationships overseas.

August Meeting ato biasa disebut dengan General Assembly (GA) adalah salah satu event terbesar IFMSA selain March Meeting. Di AM ini akan ada banyak sekali kegiatan2 yang bermanfaat buat kita semua dan ISMKI tentunya!

GA dilaksanakan tanggal 7-13 agustus 2008,
ada pre GA (opsional) tanggal 3-6 agustus 2008,
dan ada post GA selama 3 hari setelah GA.

In relation to a summer course on infectious disease in Egypt, on the 12-26th of July 2008, The International affair division of ISMKI will send some students to participate in this. It will be a once in a lifetime opportunity to get hands on experience with infectious diseases, and to explore the treasures of Egypt. The courses will be based on labs, clinicals, lectures and seminars.

Requirements are :
1.Motivation letter as completely as possible (english and bahasa Indonesia)
2.Curriculum vitae as completely as possible, including passport number and picture (english and bahasa)
